In the middle 1990’s everyone started talking about needing a website. Now, the new “must have” is a web log or blog. While blogs can come in all shapes and sizes, a blog is just a very simple way to publish a journal, record of events, thoughts, ideas or whatever the author wants to write about. A blog sits on a website – whether that site is run by you or managed by a company that will “host” your blog.
As an example, if a blogger suggests you try a premier blogging system and also you click on the link to blog, that blogger most likely just produced an affiliate sale. They might have received a set dollar amount or even a percentage of the purchase.
Creating different types of blog posts and mixing them up during the week will keep your audience interested. It will also keep you from seeing your blogging task as a chore rather than a tool to help you make money online. Whether you are blogging to make money directly from the blog by selling products from it, blogging to drive traffic to an affiliate program or blogging to rank higher in SEO… you need to know about these six different types of easy-to-write blog posts.
Another difference between websites and comment on my post is the ability to communicate with the visitor. Blogs by definition provide space for comments and back and forth communications on the posts or web pages. Websites, on the other hand; traditionally don’t have this. Some websites now have the flexibility to provide places for comments so this is not such a major difference between the two platforms any more.
OMake sure that your customers know that your blog exists. Providing some targeted advertising on the Internet is not hard. Try some link exchange programs with web sites, blogs, and ezines that have similar content to your blog. In many cases, simply providing a link to another web site can convince that web master to provide a link to your blog.
Plan online blogs the cruddy links. Getting a bunch of cruddy links is an art. I find that three-way link exchanges, releasing wordpress themes, and using Unique Article Wizard are great ways of building tons of low-quality links. Find no more than 3-4 tactics and stick with them.
Personal Blogs can be created for free and some even custom designed (For a small fee that is). They have different templates and different formats something to satisfy everyone. The fee ranges from $2.99 and up and can be paid monthly or yearly; Depending on the person’s preference.
There are many more ways you can start making money online. These are just a few. Try them out and see which one works best for you. No matter which method you choose to make money online remember the key is to be persistent. Don’t stop just because you don’t see any money within your first week or two. Keep going and the money will follow.
